MyGamerCard.net has added a new feature for their supporters, that adds a background to their gamercard based on the last game played. Google has released the beta of their fourth generation toolbar. It contains many new features such including plug-ins, a send to menu allowing you to send the current page to Blogger, SMS or Gmail. Unfortunatly this toolbar is only available for Internet Explorer. Get the Google Toolbar v4 Beta.

Effective Brand a company I found about a year and a half ago, which allows you to make your own community toolbar. Effective Brand really stands out from the competition, though i’ve yet to find any, with all the features you could want and the ease and simplicity that is often hard to find. I would highly recommend Effective Brand to anyone who needs a custom toolbar.
My dog Max died early yesterday morning he would have been 14 years old on May 5th. He was a standard schnauzer and who had been through many misfortunes. We all miss him very much.
Microsoft released its second beta of Internet Explorer. IE7 has improved support for CSS2 and Images. It resizes images using a more readable process. It has support for PNG with Alpha Channel. You can get IE7 Beta 2 by clicking the following link. Get IE7 Beta 2
Google’s email solution, Gmail, adds the ability to Chat with other Gmail users right from your web browser. Google says that Chat will not include the ability to send or receive calls, so there is still a reason for the Google Talk Application.
It appears I may have spoken too soon about the condition of the fire. The Wind has picked up and is now pushing the fire westward. I will continue to update the situation here for as long as possible, though I may have to shutdown the server for a period of time if required to evacuate. So far every thing seems to be okay.
There is a brush fire near my home it is burning near my brother’s house. Him, his wife and their two dogs are okay. They have not required an evaquation of the residents in the area but have recommended that we be prepared in case the situation changes. Our last near by brush fire occured about 12 years ago and got very close to our home; at that point we were on the edge of the neighborhood and were the closest to the brush. The firefighters had to come in our backyard and fight the fire at our back fence. The now non-existent news channel OCN came to our house to report on the story.

A dead whale lands on the beach, and has to be removed by the Oregon Highway Division. The OHD uses Dynamite, hoping to blast the whale into tiny pieces for the seagulls to eat, and to blow the rest into the sea. Using 1 ton of TNT, they blast the whale straight up and out, and parts of the whale are landing on cars about 1 mile away. Much of the whale remains at the blast site, and has to be bulldozed into the sand.
