There is a brush fire near my home it is burning near my brother’s house. Him, his wife and their two dogs are okay. They have not required an evaquation of the residents in the area but have recommended that we be prepared in case the situation changes. Our last near by brush fire occured about 12 years ago and got very close to our home; at that point we were on the edge of the neighborhood and were the closest to the brush. The firefighters had to come in our backyard and fight the fire at our back fence. The now non-existent news channel OCN came to our house to report on the story.

They had helicopters dropping water on the fire.
